Before You Play

This game is a recreation of the game Flappy Bird by .Gears. This includes new jumping system pipes and even enemies. Try to beat my high score of 114! There is also a youtube video I made about the game which you can check at the bottem of this page

What comes with the original game?

The original game comes with only normal green pipes which move to the left of the screen, and you the player has the ability to jump how many times you want with the goal to dodge as many pipes as possible.

What this game adds to the original...

Player Features...

1. New Jumping System: The player now holds to charge a jump instead of it being instant, and the player now always has an  'x' amount of jumps.
2. Collectables: The player can now collect items which give you either more jumps or more eggs... (more about eggs later)

New Pipes...

1. Yellow Pipe: The yellow pipe oscillates up and down making it more of a challenge to dodge.
2. Orange Pipe: The orange pipe moves either up or down making it more of a challenge to dodge.
3. Side Ways Pipe: This pipe is the same as the green pipe just it is rotated for 45 degrees

New Enemies...

Yes now flappy bird even has enemies but before I introduce the enemies I first need to point out that the player can now Shoot Eggs like projectiles, which have to be collected via Collectable items. Now for the Enemies...

1. The Crow: The Crow has a chance of spawning in and will be on the right side of the screen, oscillating up and down. While alive The Crow will shoot pepsi bottles (yes its cannon...)  at the player, these pepsi bottles kill the player instantly. to get rid of The Crow you need to fire an egg right at there face! Killing them instantly.
2. The Red Pipe: The Red Pipe has a chance of spawning in and will be on the right side of the screen, oscillating up and down. While alive the red pipe will shoot fireballs towards the player, similarly like The Crow but the difference is that the red pipe can't be killed unlike The Crow so instead the read pipes disappears after shooting 'x' amount of fireballs
3. The Chomper: Finally The Chomper hides inside of a normal green pipe and once the player gets close, it popes out attacking the player! The Chomper can not be killed

Flappy Bird Retro is a remake of the original game Flappy Bird which adds tons more mechanics and makes the game even harder.
